The President’s speech yesterday in Turkey showed respect and support for a key ally while taking the next step in his extensive outreach to Muslims worldwide. In a speech given in a country where US favorability rating had fallen to 12 percent last year and broadcast throughout the Muslim world, the President made clear that America “is not, and will never be, at war with Islam.”
